Under the patronage of Eng. Adil bin Mohammed Faqeeh, Mayor of Jeddah Municipality, the GIS Center in the municipality organized a symposium under the name of "GIS Municipal Services' Applications ". The symposium celebrated the GIS International Day, and was scheduled November 14, 2007. It took place at "Westin Hotel", Jeddah and attracted a lot of attendees that are interested in GIS.

Moreover, "CAD & GIS Company" participated as a sponsor in this symposium and presented the Integration of both systems, the PMS and GIS as well as the advantages of such a project in the Municipality.

CAD & GIS Co. Ltd. has innovated an integrated solution for Jeddah municipality to consummate the integration between PMS and GIS.

Through this plan Jeddah Municipality can observe and check the PMS data visually through GIS; eventually it will be easy to track the projects by using the Geographic Information System.

One of CAD&GIS project phases is training Jeddah Municipality employees to connect PMS along with GIS.

CAD & GIS Co. Ltd. along with Autodesk Middle East organized AEC & Geospatial Solutions Seminar on Monday 4th June, 2007 in Jeddah Meridien Hotel. The seminar discussed the new releases of AutoCAD 2008, Revit Architecture 2008 and Civil 3D 2008. It was a successful seminar which discussed the new features and capabilities of the new releases; moreover the audience was impressed by the essential improvements of Autodesk in the above mentioned software as well as the "CAD & GIS Company" concern and professionalism in spreading the to up-to-date awareness & the importance of Autodesk products in the Western Province of Saudi Arabia.

"CAD & GIS Company" participated in the Second National Symposium and Exhibition on GIS and Geospatial Information, Technology and Applications in Saudi Arabia; an event organized by The High Committee of Geographic Information Systems at the Eastern Province in Saudi Arabia. Featuring a state-of-the-art exhibit, plenary, keynote, and technical sessions, it brought all stakeholders in the geospatial domain - academia, researchers, students, and the industry - onto one platform for interaction, sharing and discussion on various topics such as collaboration on technologies and experiences gained. The symposium was intended to encourage the exchange of knowledge and experience in geospatial sciences among researchers, practitioners, and professionals within the country and abroad.

The Symposium scheduled April 23 till April 25, 2007, took place at "Le Meridian Hotel", Khobar.
